A typical task in turbine construction is the synchronous data acquisition of a multitude of dynamic measurement quantities, such as:

  • Temperature;
  • Pressure;
  • Strain;
  • Acceleration;
  • Sound pressure; and
  • rpm.

Furthermore, all the requisite measuring channels have to be monitored and observed in real time. This is where the PAK application Online Monitoring comes into its own.

Additionally are analysis modules available that can be used to analyze, for example, vane wheel or rotor imbalance at multiple levels. This minimizes the imbalance and the associated mechanical vibrations.

Mechanical vibrations are not only dedicated to imbalances, but also to the vane wheel vibrations caused by pressure changes. PAK features analyzers for effectively tracing such phenomena, e.g. angle-based sampling.
